Coiled Tubing Unit

General Description

The Coiled Tubing Unit (CTU) consists of a reel, injector head, stripper, quad BOP equipment, and control systems.

The unit includes:

• MEDCO DAS data acquisition and monitoring system

• Well monitoring with camera system

• Full recording and storage of operational and inspection data

• Post-operation data delivery to the operator company

Safety systems include:

• Reel brake system

• Injector head brake system

• Manual brake system

• Air-operated brake system (for emergency hydraulic pressure supply to BOP, stripper, and injector head)

The BOP system provides more than two times open–close mobility.
The control cabin is explosion-proof and equipped with air conditioning.
